why some people are spared from tragedies and others aren't. things like, why some people are healed and others aren't. There are many things that we will never know, or understand, this side of heaven. IF WE TRUST GOD AND TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD, WE KNOW THAT HE WANTS ONLY THE BEST FOR US AND IT IS WORTH NOT RUSHING AHEAD OR TRYING TO FORCE THINGS OR MAKE THEM HAPPEN IN OUR OWN TIME. BUT IN OUR HUMANNESS, IT IS EASY TO GROW WEARY, DISCOURAGED, FRUSTRATED AND IMPATIENT IN OUR TIMES OF WAITING. GOD IS NEVER LATE OR EARLY.HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME. THERE ARE SO MANY EXAMPLES IN THE BIBLE, OF THOSE WHO HAD TO WAIT, SOMETIMES FOR A VERY LONG PERIOD OF TIME, BEFORE THEY SAW GOD'S PROMISES FULFILLED AND THEIR PRAYERS ANSWERED. THERE ARE MANY LESSONS TO BE TAUGHT IN OUR PERIODS OF WAITING. When we have faith and trust in Him, then we can rest knowing that He hears our prayers, sees our needs and He is faithful to answer according to His will, which is always the best. This is where knowing God's character and knowing His promises are so important. God cares about our physical needs, but He is infinitely more concerned about our spiritual needs and growth. Our time on earth is meant to prepare us for eternity. He is looking at everything from an eternal perspective. If God doesn't give us what we are asking for, we have to remember that He has a good plan and a purpose for everything in our lives and He only wants the very best for us. or perhaps He has something better in mind. or He sees the negative things that could occur if He were to give you what you are asking. He might know that what you are asking is not the best thing for you or someone you are praying for. God Sees the bigger picture of our lives. SOMETIMES THE ANSWER IS "NO" OR HE CHOOSES TO ANSWER DIFFERENTLY THAT WHAT WE PRAYED FOR. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words Romans 8:26 (This means that even when we don’t know the words to pray…when all we can do is groan because our hearts are heavy, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us and always knows what is in our hearts) Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears. In my distress I called upon the Lord to my God I cried for help. Psalm 34:15īut know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself the Lord hears when I call to him - Psalm 4:3 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. THE NEXT THING YOU NEED TO KNOW, IS WE HAVE THE ASSURANCE THAT GOD HEARS EVERY PRAYER. then believe it and trust that His word is true. that is a lie from the enemy and you need to remember what God says. If you are feeling like God does not answer your prayers because He doesn't care about you, or your needs. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Are you not much more valuable than they? Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Matthew 6:25 - 26"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about your body, what you will wear. Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you he will never let the righteous fall. Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. I Peter 5:7 "Cast your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you."Įphesians 5:29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church.
