![]() My favorite (and most convenient) was the one on Northwest Highway, but that location closed about a year ago. I have been coming to the Mercado Juarez restaurants for nearly 35 years. We’ll have to go back soon or visit the one in S Arlington before too long. This visit reminded me of how much I miss “our” Mercado Juarez in N Arlington. But he was working hard and I know a lot of restaurants are having trouble right now finding enough help. We had to wait for drink refills, our check, etc… longer than we cared for. The only slight negative was that it appeared our server had too many tables to service. My friend had enchiladas and he was very complimentary. The guacamole I received as an appetizer was ok nothing to get too excited about there but not bad. There was plenty of beef and a I really enjoyed the Ranchera sauce. The breading was a little thicker than I prefer but it was very good. I had the beef Chile Relleno with Ranchera sauce. The employees we saw were all wearing masks.įrom the chips, salsa and hot (so hot we couldn’t touch them for awhile) tortillas that we were served to our meals, most everything was very good. We were able to be seated at a table with plenty of distancing from other tables. They were busy but the restaurant is huge. I was in Fort Worth with a friend and the place we were going to try was closed. We used to have one in North Arlington but haven’t been to one since that one closed years ago. Haven’t been to a Mercado Juarez in years.
